WESLEY SANDOVAL
Straight out of the Rocky Mountains two miles high he was born
and raised in Leadville, Colorado.
His parents got him involved in snowmobiling, four wheeling,
skiing, fishing, hunting, and wrestling at an early age!
Growing up as a wrestler and excelling to a national level
he always loved a challenge and was taught that hard work pays off!
After going to college he started working in construction
and after four years he worked his way to the top starting
Sandoval Construction specializing in building custom mountain homes and welding!
The starting of his business enabled him to purchase his first dirt bike and sled a
1999 700 RMK, on which he did his first cornice drop and 100' air.
His passion for the sport grew just as
his backcountry airs grew doing huge 137'
cornice drops and 184' airs.
This was just a typical weekend of
riding and having fun hucking his sled with the
local boys!
During the 2007-08 season he was invited to
his first filming session with
Braaap films and he killed it with his sick backcountry riding style,
conquering and destroying every natural hit like it
was one of his wrestling opponents!
He was the third person to attempt the infamous barrel role
and it landed him on the cover of Braaap (krazy) 8
with a full segment and a krazy bonus segment!
Since then he started expanding his snowmobile
discipline with freestyle
by building his own ramps and throwing
down some new tricks, superman’s,
Indian airs and some of the sickest
ramp whips out there!
He premiered in his first rock band video by
hucking his sled multiple times over the band
(DEEP SHAG "FIGHT THE REAL LIFE")
while they were playing!
Wes is also featured in the Braaap snowmobile movies,
Braaap 9, Narly Nine and BRAAAP 10
. During the summer months you'll find him raging his dirt bike in the WEBE hare scramble racing circuit maneuvering his
2004 CRF 450 R.
